Search for Demat account and Demat account opening queries were at their peak during the lockdown. This showed that the interest in investing in the stock market was at its peak too. So let’s agree that now is the time for technology that drives capital markets to be dynamic, consistent, and focused on the future.

Innovations in sectors

Look at the pharma sector, you would definitely be able to point out multiple key innovations. The same goes for telecommunications, agriculture, and construction. The Fintech industry is also making innovations. A well-functioning market connects companies and people to the capital, information, and technology they need to foster innovation.

Good analysis is the backbone of great stock investments. Once we analyse and evaluate stocks to buy, we move on to another platform to finish the trade. Oh! That nagging feeling and time fleeting away in between these two steps, which could have been dedicated elsewhere, is lost.

This is where Tickertape steps in. We want to bridge this gap and enable investors to reduce the turnaround time between researching and trading. This is where we introduce “Transactions”.

Transactions – buy multiple stocks in one go

‘Transactions’ is a new way to buy stocks. You can buy AND sell multiple stocks at the same time. You can also maintain and manage your entire portfolio from Tickertape.

How to use Transactions?

All you have to do is add the stocks to the Basket, select the holdings (quantity), and choose if you want to buy or sell that particular stock.

Here’s a quick tutorial on how to use the “Basket” feature works in this video.

You can manage your entire portfolio from Tickertape. Export your current portfolio from your broker account and see all the investments along with smallcase investments. Truly a 360-degree view of your investment portfolio will be available in one place.

Here’s a quick tutorial on how to sync the “Portfolio” feature in this video.

If you have more questions, leave your comments below.

But most importantly, kick off your new trading experience now. Let us know in the comments section how you plan to use this feature.

FAQs

Can you sell all your stocks at once?

Yes, you can sell all your stocks in one go on Tickertape. Ensure that you have linked your Demat account with Tickertape to be able to do this. Once this is done, simply add all the stocks that you want to sell to the ‘Basket’, and place a sell order.

Can you buy multiple stocks at once?

Yes. Start by linking your Demat account with Tickertape. Then, add all the stocks that you want to buy to the ‘Basket’, and place a buy order.

How to invest in multiple stocks at once?

Your broker account allows you to place buy orders for shares of a company at a time. For instance, you cannot buy TCS, Infosys, and DMart all at once. You can only do so by placing three different buy orders for each of these.

But on Tickertape, you don’t have to do this. Add all the stocks you want to buy to the ‘Basket’ and place a single buy order. That’s it, the stocks are yours now!
