Filter fundamentally strong stocks in Just a Few Clicks!

Fundamentally strong stocks are like the backbone of any successful investment portfolio. These stocks are backed by solid financials, strong management teams, and a promising business model. These stocks have the potential to weather market fluctuations and deliver sustainable growth over time. So, if you’re looking for stability and consistent returns, keeping an eye on fundamentally strong stocks is a prudent strategy. Let’s understand how you can use Tickertape Stock Screener to find such stocks.

The best part here is that you don’t have to apply a plethora of filters to get the list. With Tickertape’s ‘Fundamental Score’ filter, you can get a list of fundamentally strong stocks. This special score, ranging from 1 to 10, is assigned to stocks listed on the NSE (National Stock Exchange). This score helps rank the stocks within their respective sectors. A higher score indicates a better-performing company. The score considers factors like valuation, profitability, market share growth, financial health, and earnings growth of the company.

For instance, let’s list the Nifty 50 fundamentally strong stocks using the stock screener:

Step 1: Go to the Tickertape Stock Screener

Step 2: In the left-side filter section, click on ‘Stock Universe’ and select ‘Nifty 50’.

Step 3: Click on ‘+Add Filter’ and under ‘Tickertape Special’, select ‘Fundamental Score’.

There you go! You now have your list of fundamentally strong stocks from the Nifty 50. But wait, there’s more! If you want to fine-tune your results and narrow down the options even further, you can add additional filters such as Net Income, Debt-to-Equity ratio, and more. Simply follow the same process and customise your search to meet your specific criteria.

With Tickertape’s user-friendly interface, you can easily identify the perfect stocks tailored to your preferences in 3 simple steps. However, there’s an easy way that will reduce the process of finding stocks in a plethora of options. Read on to find out 👇

Uncover the best Investments with Analyst Rating filters

Now that you’re armed with strategies to gain an edge in the market, here’s an exciting surprise for you: access to a list of stocks recommended by analysts. Imagine the power of having expert opinions at your fingertips, empowering you to make informed decisions in the dynamic stock market.

Analyst Score on Tickertape is like having a team of experienced analysts by your side, guiding you through the maze of stocks. There are six different types of analysts’ scores. Let’s explore each one of them.

  1. Number of analysts with buy recommendations

This tells you how many analysts recommend buying a particular stock out of the total number of analysts who have researched it. Different stocks have different numbers of analysts tracking them. Each analyst provides a rating and target price, which are averaged and presented on the platform. This information is often updated after quarterly or yearly results. It gives you an idea of how many analysts are covering the stock and suggesting a buy.

  1. Total number of analysts

This indicates the overall number of analysts covering a company. It helps you understand the level of analyst coverage and the attention a stock receives.

  1. Percentage of Hold Recommendations

This is calculated by dividing the sum of analysts with a hold rating by the total number of analysts for a particular stock. It shows the percentage of analysts who recommend holding the stock without suggesting buying or selling.

  1. Percentage Upside

This data item reflects the percentage difference between a stock’s target price and its current price. Target price is an average of projections made by stock brokers over the near term. The percentage difference helps identify the potential upside or downside in the stock. A positive number indicates potential upside, while a negative number indicates downside.

  1. Percentage of Sell Recommendations

This is calculated by dividing the sum of analysts with a sell or strong sell rating by the total number of analysts for a particular stock. It gives you an idea of the percentage of analysts who recommend selling the stock.

  1. Percentage of Buy Recommendations

This data item is calculated by dividing the sum of strong buy and buy recommendations by the total number of recommendations for the stock. It represents the percentage of analysts who recommend buying the stock. A higher percentage, closer to 100%, indicates more confidence and positive recommendations from analysts.

How to use the analyst rating filters?

Let’s consider you wish to get a list of stocks that analysts recommend buying. Follow the below-mentioned steps.

Step 1: Go to Tickertape Stock Screener.

Step 2: Select ‘+Add Filter’ and look for ‘Analyst Ratings’. Under that, select ‘No. of analysts with buy reco’.
